 What's happening people?

Welcome to TayeDiggsOnline.com. I've wanted to do this for a while and I'm very excited that it's finally up.  My inspiration for the site comes from questions I've been asked about my life, style and the arts and I wanted a place where I can share some of the things I've learned and hopefully, learn some things from you as well.

It's important to me that this site can be a place where I can share some of the experiences I've had in my life and hopefully, you'll find some of it helpful in yours.  Yes, you're going to hear me talk about things ranging from style to behind-the-scenes looks at Private Practice, but my inspiration comes from being a husband and a father. My family is where my heart and soul are at.

This is your site, too.  I'd like to hear from you and hope you'll take the time to sign-up and create a profile.  Ask me questions. Tell me what you'd like to know, whether it's thoughts on what's happening in the theatre (I just saw The Normal Heart and it blew my mind) or my different ways to tie a necktie.

Also known for his role on Private Practice as Dr. Sam Bennett, Taye first came to national attention for originating the role of Benny in the Pulitzer Prize winning musical Rent . As a film actor, he’s starred in How Stella Got Her Groove Back, The Best Man, Chicago,  and many others. He is the founder of dre.dance and is married to rent co-star Idina Menzel. Together, they have one son, Walker Nathaniel Diggs.
